WARSAW — December’s First Friday is currently underway in Warsaw. Despite a temperature of 41 degrees, children, adults and pets alike are strolling the streets of Warsaw to enjoy some pre-Christmas holiday cheer.
Guests began lining up for a chance to see Santa in the Optimist Club’s Santa House, currently parked at the Kosciusko County Courthouse Square. Children were invited to have a seat on Santa’s lap and and tell the man in red what they were hoping for for the holidays. Meanwhile, elves, portrayed by Madison O’Connell, Triton High School, and Tyleana Hoffer, Tippecanoe Valley High School, were on hand to capture the moment with a complimentary photo, handing out candy canes as families left to return to the celebration.
